As part of its commitment to providing global academic exposure, PDSE & FBM hosted Professor Michael Stimmelmayr from the University of Bath, UK, for an in-person session titled “Economics in Action” on 2 December 2025. Professor Stimmelmayr, Professor in the Department of Economics and Associate Dean (International), Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, shared valuable insights on economic development, microeconomic theory, and the role of institutions in shaping living standards. The session was attended by first-year BBA (Finance) students and proved to be highly engaging and insightful, enriching students’ understanding by connecting theoretical concepts with real-world economic applications.
