The School of Pharmacy & Technology Management was established in 2006 in response to the need of specialized education in Pharma Management & Research. In a short span we have made significant progress on various fronts in the field of Pharmaceutical education.
Our third batch of M.Pharm. students with specialization in Pharmaceutics / Quality Assurance/Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Pharmacology/ Clinical Pharmacy is ready for recruitment . Also our first batch of students from M.Sc Applied Pharm Sciences with specializations in Applied Pharm Analysis and Applied Pharm Microbiology will pass out this year.
The students have been selected from a nation wide pool and their curriculum has been designed by our Board of Studies comprising industry experts, members of regulatory bodies and leading academicians from across the country. All these students have carried out collaborative M.Pharm.(delete M.Pharm ) research projects with various pharmaceutical Companies , research organizations and hospitals.
The M.Sc program is a unique course that we have started from 2008. It is a comprehensive two year course combining Pure Chemistry/Microbiology with pharmaceutical sciences thereby making it a professional course. It covers all instrumentation, spectroscopy, chromatography, statistics and pharmaceutical testing by all Pharmacopoeial methods. Students are given complete knowledge about international conference of harmonization (ICH) guidelines and a module on communication and presentation skills.
Our Placement Committee assists students for placement through campus recruitment programmes. Interested Companies can visit the campus for presentations and pre-placement talks, shortlist candidates using details on resumes. The companies are free to conduct series of selection processes like technical and psychometric tests, group discussions, case studies, interviews etc. The schedule can be worked out with the Placement Committee.
