The School of Business Management (SBM) covers the flagship management programme that has been successfully grooming managerial talent since 1981. SBM offers MBA programmes specific to various sectors like Actuarial Science, Banking, Capital Markets, Global Business, Pharma, Retail, and Services. The school has also designed Management Programme for Executives (MPE), a week-end Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management customized for working professionals. Geared towards updating the General Management skills of executives and managers for career advancement opportunities, this programme has met with a lot of success and industry recognition. This success has led the SBM to respond to the knowledge and skill enhancement needs of executives inclined towards the field of Human Resource Development by launching the PGDHR – an HR intensive course.

Management Programme for Executives
The Department of Human Resources and Behavioural Sciences is launching a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources (PGDHR) for working executives interested in the area of Human Resources. This forum will enable executives and managers from various industries to share their perspectives and enhance their knowledge on contemporary HR issues and challenges.

- Familiarization and comprehension of the objectives, process and applications of Human Resource Management in the context of different organizational strategies.
- Inculcating a pragmatic approach in aligning HR theory and practice with business objectives.
- Enhancing career growth in the field of HR by developing skills and competencies required to meet the demands of the organizations today.

Course Design
The programme covers 24 courses and one essential workshop per trimester spread over four trimesters in 22 months. The lectures will be scheduled from 2 pm to 8.30 pm on Saturdays and 9am to 4pm on Sundays. |

- Minimum 3 years of work experience preferably in the area of HR in an executive capacity
- Graduation from a recognized University in any discipline with minimum 50% marks
